The O-Oley team, led by Prof. David CC LAM and Dr. Stanley LEUNG from the HKUST Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, consists of a core team of four engineering students.

 

The core team members include:

• Kin-Nam KWOK: PhD in Mechanical Engineering

• Minji SEO: PhD in Mechanical Engineering

• Kwun-Chung CHAN: MPhil in Mechanical Engineering

• Yuen-Yin LEUNG: Year 4, BEng in Mechanical Engineering

 

The team's invention of the O_Oley goggle has garnered them the Hong Kong National Winner title in 2022 from the highly competitive James Dyson Award. Now, the team is continuously enhancing and optimising the goggles to prevent the progression of glaucoma.
